Playgroups USA Mission

Our mission is to help provide a way for parents and caregivers to join or form a playgroup where parents and children receive invaluable benefits that will last a lifetime. For the children, a designated playgroup will enable them to learn to socialize and interact with other children. Parents and caregivers will realize that a playgroup often provides much needed time to help build friendship and support with other parents and caregivers.

We also will make organizing playtime for children an easy task for parents by providing interactive tools that are free and available to all users of the site. These designated playtimes for children will enable them to learn to socialize and interact with other children.

About Us

Playgroups USA was started by parents that saw the irreplaceable benefits of playgroup years ago and wanted to bring these opportunities to everyone wishing the best for their children.  By providing resources and intuitive site tools, visitors can search every U.S. zip code for a playgroup nearby.  Or, a parent can create a new playgroup.  All playgroups are described in the postings so parents can find the right playgroup for them.  The playgroups are based on the child's age, location, day, time and group focus. Playgroups can be intimate and managed by the parents or caregivers or they can be groups that are facilitated or hosted by an organization wishing to provide a unique playgroup experience.

All across the country, playgroups and lifelong friendships are forming every day. Ask someone that is in a playgroup or has been in one and they'll tell you the same great things we hear everyday.

A comprehensive list of local area resources. These resources help provide ideas for playgroups looking for meeting places with activities or space for children. Some of these resources include local libraries, parks, mall playspaces, area attractions, community centers and more.

Playgroups USA also has an event division called WeeBoogie.  WeeBoogie events inspire parents by encouraging music and dance early in a childs life while also supporting local, non-profits that serve young families. WeeBoogie is more than just a great way for parents to enjoy a fun music experience with their children - it’s a way to give back.
