Paper Stars (3+ years)
Material: Paper, crayons, scissors, glue, and glitter.
Description: Cut out a shape of a star. Decorate the star with crayons and glitter. Tape onto your childs bedroom window so they may view their own star in the night. |
Bubbles (6+ months)
Materials: Bubbles and wands.
Description: All ages love bubbles! This can be done inside or outside. Toddlers can blow the bubbles or use wands. Otherwise, you can blow them and let the children catch them. |
Sun Biscuits
Ingredients: Refrigerator biscuits, raspberry jam, butter if desired.
Directions: Pat each biscuit into small circles. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Make rays for the sun by pressing a plastic knife into the dough. Press your thumb into the center of each biscuit and add a drop of raspberry jam into the middle. Follow biscuit-baking directions on the package. Cool and eat.
Moon Snacks
Ingredients: Rice cakes and cream cheese
Directions: Spread cream cheese on the rice cakes to make moons. |
Stuffed Animals (6+ months)
Materials: Child’s favorite stuffed animal from home.
Description: Have each child “show and tell” their stuffed animal.
