Playgroup Guidelines Examples
1. Members should RSVP to each playgroup event and try to attend each playgroup at least 2 times per month.
2. It's common for each member to host a playgroup and asked to select a meeting place. Many playgroups create a regular, rotating schedule for this.
3. Members should help the host pick up toys, activity clean up, etc. at the end of playgroup.
4. If you or your child is sick and your symptoms are contagious, please keep the germs at home. Especially if anyone has had a fever in the last 24- 48 hours.
5. Members are responsible for their own children and monitoring their behavior. Any aggressive behavior is discouraged. Work together to help curb bad habits and don't be surprised if every child has a bad day from time to time.
6. Any problems occurring in a playgroup should be brought to the immediate attention of the Group Leader if it cannot be resolved on its own.
7. Keep the flow of communication up by joining us on our ‘Group Message Area'.
8. Please, no smoking during playgroup.
9. If your hosting and have animals in your home, please notify all members before playgroup so members with allergies are aware of this. It’s a good idea to keep animals, even the friendly ones, out of the room where you are having the playgroup.
10. When hosting in your home, you're not neccessarily responsible for snacks and drinks. Just provide a safe and clean area for the children to play.
