Release of Responsibility

Playgroups USA is a web site which matches caregivers with others to form playgroups for their kids in their area.  Playgroups USA is not responsible for any actions or injuries that take place at one of the playgroups that you attend or host.  Each member is responsible in creating a safe environment for themselves, caregivers, and the children who participate in these playgroups.

All public playgroups posted on Playgroups USA are free.  Members cannot post groups that charge without receiving written approval from Playgroups USA. Playgroups USA reserves the right to remove any playgroup posting that doesn’t meet the Playgroups USA terms of use.

In the event that you have any claim or action against any other member arising from that member's use of our service, you agree to pursue such claim or action independently of and without any demands from Playgroups USA, and you release us from all claims, liability and damages, arising from or in any way connected to the claim or action. In the event that a claim or action is brought against us from your activities or use of the web site, including any breach by you of this 'terms of use' or any charges or complaints made by other parties against you, you agree to pay, hold harmless and defend us in the claim or action. You also agree to cooperate as fully as reasonably required in the defense of any claim and allow us to assume the exclusive defense and control of the matter.

Playgroups USA does not run background checks on any of its members.  If a member is in breach of our 'terms of use' we can at anytime refuse service by sending a notice of termination of membership denying access to our web site and member services. We are entitled to investigate and terminate a person's membership if a member has misused this service, or behaved in a way which could be regarded as inappropriate or whose conduct is unlawful or illegal.

By using this site, you agree to abide by Playgroups USA 'terms of use'. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue your use of this web site immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen years of age to register as a member of Playgroups USA and must be an eligible caregiver of the child participating. This service is for the personal use of individual members only and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors. Organizations, companies, and/or businesses may not become members without prior consent and written permission from Playgroups USA and should not use this service for any purpose.

Registration

When registering, you understand that Playgroups USA reserves the right to make changes to our site. You will not be charged a fee at the time of registration. Should Playgroups USA decide to charge a fee in the future for its services, you will not be affected as long as you have established a relationship with Playgroups USA (filling out the profile) prior to any change.

Postings on Playgroups USA

All playgroups posted on Playgroups USA are free.  Members can not post groups that charge with out receiving approval through Playgroups USA. Playgroups USA reserves the right to remove any playgroup posting that doesn’t follow Playgroups USA terms.

Facilitated Playgroups must be approved by Playgroups USA. Please see our description for Facilitated Playgroups on our 'What is a Playgroup' page.

Please do not post your email address, phone number or if you have a personal website link under our playgroup postings. This is to protect your privacy and is in violation of our Privacy Act. Members will receive your email once they join and you can post your website link on your playgroup calendar for your members to view from there.
